Travoprost lowers intraocular pressure by decreasing outflow of aqueous humor via trabecular meshwork by activating FP prostanoid receptor.

Timolol reduces the production of aqueous humor and possibly increases outflow by blocking both beta1 and beta2 adrenergic receptors, thereby decreasing intraocular pressure.

Travoprost+Timolol/Duotrav PQ is indicated for elevated intraocular pressure/glaucoma

Before starting Travoprost+Timolol/Duotrav PQ make sure your physician is aware of any allergies or medications you currently take, any medical conditions you have, if you are pregnant, or breastfeeding.

Apply one drop to affected eye(s) once daily

How to Take: Follow instructions provided by physician/pharmacy label, use consistently at same time each day unless otherwise directed, store at room temperature.  Apply light pressure to lacrimal sac (inside corner of eye near nose) for 60 seconds after application to prevent drainage of the drop from eye.

You Need to Avoid: Do not wear contact lenses during therapy, do not touch tip of applicator to any surfaces or to the eye itself to avoid contamination

Local Pruritis (itch), eye redness, dry eye, increased eyelash length

Note this is not a complete list of side effects, only common ones

1. What do I do if I am prescribed multiple eyedrops at the same time?
   If they are to be administered at the same time, wait at least 10 minutes between each kind of drop to allow time for medication to absorb into eye.  Applying two different drops too close to each other will cause dilution of each resulting in a reduced effect of both.
