Mupirocin (topical)/Bactroban/Centany binds to bacterial isoleucyl transfer-RNA synthetase resulting in inhibited protein synthesis eventually resulting in cell death.

Mupirocin (topical)/Bactroban/Centany is officially indicated for various skin infections such as impetigo, S. aureus (including methicillin-resistant) decolonization, and secondary skin infections.  It may also be prescribed off-label for use in various other skin infection treatment and prevention.

Before starting use of Mupirocin (topical)/Bactroban/Centany make sure your physician is aware of any allergies or medications you currently take, if you have kidney disease, or if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Apply to affected area(s) two or three times

How to Take: Follow instructions provided by physician/pharmacy label, apply consistently at same times each day unless otherwise directed, store at room temperature.

You Need to Avoid: Do not apply near eyes, to broke skin, or to other mucous membranes.  Avoid applying other topicals at the same time unless otherwise directed to avoid dilution of product.
