Calcipotriol/Calcipotriene is a synthetic vitamin D3 analog that regulates skin cell production and proliferation. It activates vitamin D receptors and inhibits proliferation of keratinocytes and enhances their differentiation.
Betamethasone may reduce the formation, release, and activity of inflammatory mediators such as kinins, histamine and prostaglandins.  Reduces cell migration to the affected area and reverses the dilation and blood vessel permeability result in decreased access of cells to the site.  It has anti-inflammatory, vasoconstrictive, and antipruritic properties.

Calcipotriol/Calcipotriene+Betamethasone, Dovobet/Enstilar/Taclonex is indicated for plaque psoriasis.

Before starting use of Calcipotriol/Calcipotriene+Betamethasone, Dovobet/Enstilar/Taclonex make sure your physician is aware of any allergies or medications you currently take, if you have any active skin conditions/infections, or if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.  May cause hypercalcemia if it occurs hold medication until it resolves.

Apply to affected area(s) once daily as prescribed

How to Take: Follow instructions provided by physician/pharmacy label, apply consistently at same times each day unless otherwise directed, store at room temperature.  Apply to affected skin; rub in gently and completely. Wash hands thoroughly after use.

You Need to Avoid: Avoid application to broken or infected skin unless directed by physician.  Avoid applying other topicals at the same time unless otherwise directed to avoid dilution of product.  Not to be applied to groin, axillae, face, or diaper area.  Avoid application to broken or infected skin unless directed by physician.
