Betamethasone/Betaderm/Diprolene/Luxiq/Sernivo may reduce the formation, release, and activity of inflammatory mediators such as kinins, histamine and prostaglandins.  Reduces cell migration to the affected area and reverses the dilation and blood vessel permeability result in decreased access of cells to the site.  It has anti-inflammatory, vasoconstrictive, and antipruritic properties.  Betamethasone has intermediate to high potency depending on the dosage form (dipropionate is very high; valerate is intermediate).

Betamethasone/Betaderm/Diprolene/Luxiq/Sernivo is indicated for various corticosteroid responsive dermatoses, plaque psoriasis, eczema

Before starting use of Betamethasone/Betaderm/Diprolene/Luxiq/Sernivo make sure your physician is aware of any allergies or medications you currently take, or if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Apply to affected area(s) one to three times daily depending on condition and formulation

How to Take: Follow instructions provided by physician/pharmacy label, apply consistently at same times each day unless otherwise directed, store at room temperature

You Need to Avoid: High potency forms should not be applied to groin, axillae, face, or diaper area.  Avoid application to broken or infected skin unless directed by physician.  Avoid applying other topicals at the same time unless otherwise directed to avoid dilution of product.

Burning, stinging, and itching of application site (uncommon and generally mild reactions)
